5:00 AM

Well here I am at 5:00 AM. Can't sleep so what am I doing? Surfing. Whatever did we do without the internet? Or cell phones for that matter. It all started when I wanted to email my sister at work. Dad gave us an ancient IBM suitcase computer, It was an ancestor to the laptop and it really was a suitcase. I love being able to stay in touch with friends and family all over the world. People that in years past we'd have lost track of are now treasured friends because of the internet.

So yesterday I had a relief drive for work. CDL license holders are only allowed so many hours of driving/ work time a day and since we live in a rural area most of the firld trips require long distance travel. I met the group at a truck stop about half way to Reno and relieved the driver who took them and brought the kids home. You would think that a bunch of High School Soccer plalyers would be tired after all that travel and the game? No such luck. These ladies had won and were hyped about it. It's always more fun transporting a winning team.

Hey, another morning done. I'm glad it's friday. I have to work tommorrow but it's been a long week. I'm working for the Elko Couonty School Ditrict, driving school bus. I start as a substitue but it keeps me busy, after years of not doing field trips I am now taking lots. Their fun cause you don't have alot of the issues of a regular route. It's all good. I have 2 dogs playing at my feet, yes we got a puppy. His name is 'Megabucks Chance of a Lifetime' call name Chance. We were able to get him from one of the top Aussie breeders in the country and this is their last litter. They are retiring form breeding and we were thrilled to be able to make Chance a part of our family. I know most of my family thinks I'm nuts when it comes to animals but I guess there's one in every family. That's ME. Zac is tickeled to have a puppy to chase him around and play with. This pic is of Kaite and Red.... we lost Red to a truck speeding down our street last winter. Miss him terribly.
